Scheduling and operation

Term Definition
Condition A rule that decides whether a scene or queue is valid right now. CanvasPro's scheduling primitive.
Valid A scene or queue whose conditions are currently met, so it can play.
Invalid A scene or queue whose conditions are not met. The queue skips past it.
Cue and Take The two-step workflow for safe live operation: cue to preview, take to send live.
Force Live Operator action that overrides the schedule with a chosen scene or queue.
Domination Per-queue mode that controls how new content takes over: interrupt the current item, or play next.
Pinned variable A template variable marked so an operator can edit it from On Air without forcing the scene live.
